I am a busy personal injury and clinical negligence litigator with particular expertise in claims involving life-changing brain and spinal injuries.  In the clinical negligence context I have experience of failure/incorrect diagnosis claims, incorrect (over) prescription claims, negligent treatment claims and negligent nursing care claims.

I have experience of working within the NHS (as an occupational therapy helper and a nursing assistant).  I also spent three years as a research associate at the Centre for Health Services Studies at the University of Kent; this work dealt with the nature of professionalism within the NHS.

The key issues in clinical negligence work are collating medical records, attention to detail, choice of experts and adopting an analytical approach to medical evidence.  I bring a practical, problem-solving approach to my work.  I understand the importance of team work and of sustaining the trust of the lay client.
