Timothy Grace

Tim Grace has wide experience of clinical negligence litigation, regularly acting in disputes arising out of primary, secondary and emergency care.  He has been instructed many times in cases involving extremely serious injury or fatality, raising complicated issues of breach of duty and causation, and requiring detailed financial calculations.  Examples of the matters encountered in his practice include:

·        delay in diagnosis or misdiagnosis of various conditions (including cancer, cauda equina syndrome, appendicitis, acetabular dysplasia, pneumonia, aneurysm, staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome;

·        informed consent (e.g. provision of slimming tablets, management of pain, negligent prescribing of Diazepam);

·         cosmetic surgery (including laser hair removal, pigeon chest correction);

·        negligent performance of surgical and other procedures (including laparoscopies, laparotomies, injections, orthopaedic surgery, dental surgery).

Tim is a member of the Personal Injuries Bar Association, the Professional Negligence Bar Association and the Northern Circuit Medical law Association.
