Kenderik Horne specialises in Civil Litigation, Employment and Criminal law.
Kenderik has strong practice experience advising and representing local authorities and other public bodies on Judicial Review cases and has conducted two significant reported cases in the Administrative Court concerning the Police and standards of proof and the lawfulness of cash seizures: · Chief Constable of Merseyside Police v. · Chief Constable of Merseyside Police v. Hickman, Times 7 April 2006 (lawfulness of cash seizures).
Other examples of advisory and drafting work in the public law field include: · 2007 - 2008 - judicial reviews of continued imprisonment pending decision on parole · 2006 - 2008 - local authority disputes over responsibility for social care provision
Building on substantial academic experience of public law at university (optional specialist paper on administrative law in Cambridge finals) Kenderik has continued to develop his knowledge of Administrative Law.
Recent events attended include the course of Administrative Court Procedures seminars carried out by Brian Thompson of
Kenderik is particularly interested in extending his Judicial Review practice in social care and prison law.
