Malcolm Sharpe is a leading specialist in all aspects of the law concerning family relationships and their breakdown - including Public Law, Judicial Review and Human Rights aspects.

Malcolm's practice covers a wide range of law:

·    Divorce and Judicial separation;

·    Family Law;

·    Public Law (Child Care);

·    Private Child Law (including residence and contact after parental separation);

·    Ancillary Relief (especially with reference to Criminal Confiscation proceedings);

·    Trusts of Land Act (applications in respect of cohabiting couples);

·    Civil Partnership Act applications;

·    Financial provision for children under Schedule 1;

·    Inheritance Act disputes;

·    Judicial Review and Human Rights appeals.

 Malcolm has long-standing experience of Judicial Review having conducted such proceedings regularly throughout his career. 

In September 2007 Malcolm gave the CPD accredited seminar Judicial Review in Family Law to the Liverpool Law Society and in preparation for the Administrative Court procedures seminars carried out by Brian Thompson of Liverpool University Law School at Atlantic Chambers in 2008.

Malcolm has a particular interest in and knowledge of Judicial Review applications arising from the exercise of Local Authority statutory duties concerning children, including policy issues arising from Special Guardianship Regulations.
