& Abigail Bennett                                                                              [both from Brabners Chaffe Street]
Members of Atlantic Chambers Family group and their invited guests enjoyed a spectacularly successful shopping evening at LK Bennett on 26th May 2010.
The event was a platform to introduce two brand new members of the family team – Katie McCann, a former solicitor at Brabners with extensive experience in high value ancillary relief matters who has successfully completed her pupillage at Atlantic Chambers and Abigail Bennett who was called to the Bar in 1998 and has recently returned to the North West from Chambers in London to specialise in ancillary relief and other family related cases. They join an already strong team of high profile ancillary relief lawyers including Sam Hillas, Malcolm Sharpe, Nick Ryan, Andrew Banks and Amanda Howard.
The event was attended by representatives from various high profile North West solicitors including Morecrofts, Brabners Chaffe Street, Mace and Jones, Brown Turner Ross and Storrar Cowdry and combined the guests’ love of fabulous clothes courtesy of LK Bennett, luxury hand massages provided by Molton Brown and chocolate from the Chocolate Cellar.  Equally fabulous canapés were provided by Alley Cats of Birkenhead.
Helen Gordon, a partner at RMNJ solicitors said “this was just the sort of event we have come to expect from the girls at Atlantic Chambers . Their regular seminars are always first class but it made an enjoyable change to spend some time out of work chatting with colleagues, enjoying a glass of bubbly and trying on some amazing shoes. The hand massages were just the icing on the cake and my colleagues and I have already put our name down for the next event”.
