Clinical Negligence Group
Atlantic Chambers have created a specialist clinical negligence group. Chambers have a number of members who have specialist practices dealing with a wide variety of Clinical Negligence cases. Given an increasing case load we have decided to launch a dedicated Clinical Negligence.
The group provide a service to both Law Society and AvMA Panel solicitors and also the increasing numbers of non-panel solicitors handling clinical negligence cases funded on a CFA basis. We shall continue to provide specialist knowledge and skills across the spectrum of clinical negligence.
The Group consists of:

The Chamber’s Clinical Negligence Team are prepared to provide the following commitments.

to promote the highest standards of client care.

to be fully responsive to solicitors' requirements.

to hold conferences in chambers, by video link when necessary, in solicitors' offices, and by telephone.

where appropriate to visit clients in their homes.

to provide high quality written advice and paperwork.

to accept instructions on a variety of funding bases.

to support solicitors by offering educational assistance and training.

to support solicitors by offering screening of new cases, particularly CFA cases

to promote the use of IT including e-mail and Powerpoint.
