Family Finance Conference 2nd October 2009
On 2nd October 2009 Atlantic Chambers hosted a half day Family Finance Conference at the Hard Day’s Night Hotel to launch the Financial Provision Team. The FPT has been set up within Atlantic Chambers to provide a comprehensive service for solicitors specialising in cases which raise financial issues arising from relationship breakdown. Ranging from traditional matrimonial breakdown and Ancillary Relief through cohabitation issues concerning unmarried couples, same sex partnerships and dependent children of unmarried parents through to issues arising from inheritance disputes and including bankruptcy and tax problems, the FPT is able to provide the broad spectrum of services which cross the borders between civil litigation, Chancery work and family disputes. With experienced and specialist counsel drawn from the established Practice Groups flourishing in Atlantic Chambers this new development promises to provide an effective One Stop Shop for solicitors.
