Tenancy

Applications for tenancy from established practitioners are always considered.

Our busy Chancery & Commercial group are currently advertising to recruit able practitioners.  We can offer a wide range of work (with an emphasis on property-related matters) from clients based throughout the North West and North Wales.  Candidates should apply in writing, enclosing their CV, to Nigel Ginniff.  All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Pupillage

Atlantic Chambers encourage applications for pupillage from exceptional candidates with an interest in practising in all areas of law.  The policy of Atlantic Chambers is to only take pupils with a view to the subsequent grant of a tenancy.  We recruit through the OLPAS scheme in Summer.  Any general enquiries should be made to our Chambers Administrator, Julie Evans at julie@atlanticchambers.co.uk

Generally, there is one common law pupillage available in each year.  Chancery & Commercial pupils are sought as the need arises for recruitment in that area.

Chambers currently have two pupils, recruited in Autumn 2008.  One pupillage is Common Law based and the other Chancery & Commercial.

Experience has shown that juniors have the opportunity to receive fees in excess of £40,000 in their first twelve months of tenancy.

Mini Pupillages

Atlantic Chambers offers one week placements for mini-pupillage from April to September.

Applicants are invited to apply during January and February of each year.  Due to the high level of demand, unfortunately we are unable to consider applications outside of this timescale.

Written applications for mini-pupillages, enclosing current CV, should also be made to Julie Evans at julie@atlanticchambers.co.uk

Staff Vacancies

We currently do not have any staff vacancies.

Applications for tenancy, pupillage or employment are dealt with without regard to the age, sex, ethnic background or sexual orientation of the candidates.
