Scott Donovan specializes in civil litigation with a specific focus on clinical negligence, medical law issues, personal injury law and the administrative law aspects of these areas. § Scott acts for applicants and respondents and has substantial experience advising local authorities and other public bodies as well as acting for individuals. Clinical negligence and personal injury cases often involve consideration of the responsibilities of local authorities and health authorities for providing care and other support pursuant a range of statutes including s17 Children Act 1989, s2 Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 and s47 of National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990. § Recent Judicial Review cases include a § Scott played a key role in setting up the Northern Administrative Law Association so as to provide support to practitioners in North of England when the § Scott is particularly interested in building the administrative law side of his clinical negligence and personal injury practice. |
