Mark has particular interest in the history of art with particular emphasis on French painting from early nineteenth century. His degree is in history, in the main political history and he has maintained that interest since graduation. The late Georgian period is of special interest.
Mark attends, with his youngest son, local football matches from the premier league down to non-league football. He enjoys most sports having played football, rugby and cricket. Mark also enjoys the theatre and is a member of a film club.
Mark has practised in family law since his call to the Bar in 1993. He has particular experience of undertaking cases dealing with care proceedings and adoption and private law children applications. He is also experienced in dealing with applications for financial relief on divorce.
Prior to joining Chambers Mark practised extensively in family law at a leading set on the Midlands Circuit.
