Fees and Whistleblowing discussed at Employment Law Update19/12/13
David Tinkler and Martin Mensah, two of Atlantic Chambers' rising stars, recently gave a whistle stop tour of key recent changes in Employment Law.
Both act in all areas of Employment Law with particular experience in unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, TUPE, discrimination, holiday pay, restrictive covenants, whistleblowing and equal pay.
The CPD-accredited session began with Martin Mensah giving a practical guide to fees, the sift and costs, including offering thoughts and guidance on the possibility of fees signalling the end of tribunal litigation and the impact of the introduction of fees to the legal profession.
David Tinkler, who has again been listed in the latest Legal 500 for local authority and education-sector employment disputes, discussed whistleblowing and protected conversations.
