This, the second of a two-session 2-hour CPD accredited conference will look at Proprietary Estoppel, Adverse Possession & Constructive Trusts with the following specialist speakers from Atlantic Chambers:
- Andrew Williams distils recent case law to consider the prospects of success in Proprietary Estoppel claims where land is promised to be handed over on death.
- Hugh Derbyshire considers adverse possession of unregistered land including rectification of the register, concurrent registration of land in two titles, occupation by implied consent and the criminalisation of squatting.
- Sarah Egan provides an overview of the laws of constructive trusts and co-ownership, including their application in Children Act and Matrimonial Finance matters.
