- The application of Part II of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 in the context of claims by small or medium building contractors and ordinary tradesmen and explain why the legislation, as belatedly extended by the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009, should be better known to contract lawyers in general practice.
Hugh Derbyshire considers:
- Recent commercial landlord and tenant authorities including those concerning assignment and the Landlord and Tenant (Covenants) Act 1995, interpretation of provision in Part II of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, relief against forfeiture and lease interpretation.
James Granby will provide:
- An overview of the law and procedure in dilapidations claims.
